Overview
The C-390 Millennium (originally KC-390) is the largest aircraft ever built in Brazil. Powered by two airliner-type jet engines, it is faster than turboprop transports like the C-130, yet can still use short and unpaved runways.
It can carry up to 26 tonnes, act as an air-to-air refuelling tanker and fight fires. After Brazil and Portugal, several European countries have chosen it, including the Netherlands, Austria, Hungary and Sweden. Range shown is with 23 tonnes.
