Overview
The Mi-28 was designed as a pure attack helicopter, with the gunner and pilot seated one behind the other in armoured cockpits with bullet-resistant glass. Unlike the Mi-24 it does not carry troops, which makes it smaller and more agile.
The Mi-28N "Night Hunter" version, with a radar above the rotor and night sensors, entered Russian service around 2009. Specifications are for the Mi-28N.
