Overview
The Learjet 35 is a light twin-turbofan business jet developed from the original Learjet 23 of the 1960s. Built from 1974 to 1994, it was so successful that "Learjet" became a common word for any private jet.
About 740 Learjet 35s and 36s were made. Besides private use, they work as air ambulances and target-towing aircraft, and the US Air Force flew them for decades as the C-21A transport.
