Overview
The Bell 206 JetRanger is a five-seat light helicopter powered by a small gas-turbine engine. Since 1967 it has been used for police, news, oil-industry, training and executive flying, and military versions served as the OH-58 Kiowa and the TH-67 trainer.
Including the stretched LongRanger, more than 7,000 were built. The Sri Lanka Air Force has flown JetRangers for pilot training and light transport. Figures are for the 206B-3.
